Annotations to my artworks

The starting point for my work is very often geometry. It first manifests itself on paper in a fleeting sketch. Only when working on metal, it finally develops. From the originally strict geometry grows change, alienation or complete dissolution.

Increasingly, colours gain importance in my work. I put them in tension with the unworked metal through various enamels, tarnishing techniques and the application of gold leaf.

Very often you can find the pearl in my artwork – symbol of water – standing in contrast to the fire of the enamel.
