Peter Werland, born on 12th of August 1954
Growing up on the beautiful Middle Moselle, I like wine and culture. More than 30 years ago my wife and I moved to Monzelfeld in the nearby Hunsrück.
Only a few years ago I became interested in working with enamel. My wife Petra took part in several classes at the Senior Citizens Academy in Bernkastel-Kues and she still had a small kiln from her school days, so my interest arose.
In the meantime, we have visited further classes and workshops and are interested in learning new techniques as well as becoming more confident. There is still a lot to learn.
For the future, we plan to devote more time to this very interesting hobby and to realize creative ideas.
It is never too late for new things!
