On the occasion of the 101st birthday of Margarete Svoboda, the CKI is exhibiting a retrospective of her works. Born in 1921 in Mercydorf in Banat, she devoted herself to porcelain painting and enamel art. She attended the art school in Timisoara and the art academy in Cluj-Napoca and was also a lecturer at the art academy herself.In the 80s she came to Germany. She is an honorary member of the Gedok (Association of Artists and Patrons of the Arts) and has been a member of the CKI for many years.
